Free Fire formerly know as Garena Free Fire is a free-to-play battle royale game developed and published by Garena for Android and iOS. Released on December 8, 2017, the game gained widespread popularity, becoming the most downloaded mobile game globally in 2019.

Goal

To scale in new markets beyond their core audience by creating culturally relevant content that resonates with local audiences

Challenge

As a maturing game Garena was looking to continue the growth of Free Fire by exploring new territories but did not have production or knowledge in markets outside of their core markets.

Solution

Artstash has producers and production teams in the MENA region that were able to produce revelant, hyper-localised content alongside in market strategies to increase conversion
